Vachellia seyal = “Red acacia"

The tree from which the arc of covenant was prepared. Wood from the tree is said to have been used in Ancient Egypt for coffins and the Ark of the Covenant.

A 4C trituration was prepared by Michal Yakir, Ronen Levi and Ruti Shilo. The above information here came up during the trituration.

A high desert tree with a pale orange or reddish bark. It is distributed from Egypt to Kenya and west Senegal. In the Sahara, it often grows in damp valleys in the desert.

It is an important source for Gum Arabic (a natural polysaccharide resin exuding from damaged stems and solidifies in open air).

The gum is used as an aphrodisiac, to treat diarrhoea, as a soothing agent, to treat haemorrhages, inflammation of the eye, rhinitis, intestinal ailments and

to ward off arthritis and bronchitis.

Incense from the wood is used to treat rheumatic pains and to keep expectant mothers from contracting rhinitis and fevers during pregnancy.

Primary symptoms, pointing to an exciting new remedy, surfaced in a trituration proving*:

Being stuck between a beginning and an end, being stuck in death on account of lack of readiness for life. In between and an inability to move to the next stage. Plethora–Symptoms of the

series and the beginning of the column.

Symptoms are presented here in verbatim:

At C1 and C2 level almost no symptom or sensation or thoughts surfaced. And indeed this was the feeling:

The mind is not clear: fogginess, can't remember names, followed by head getting clearer, thinking becomes clear (lucid?)

Tiredness, boredom: "for 3 hours it felt as though nothing is happening, and then, eventually, there was a breakthrough in the consciousness".

Only near the end of C3 and C4 stage of that trituration that thoughts and sensation came: Death: Odor of coffins, nothing. nothingness

Connected to death, to coffins, to corps eaten by animals, I see animals around me. Feels like the Requiem by Mozart.

Thinking about the Resurrection Tarot card.

Death and resurrection. Transformation – from death to life. Falling asleep/waking up. When a person is dying, and one doesn't know if he is dead or not, difficulty to perceive that a loved

one is dead; is he really dead?

Or when a person himself can't decide whether to live or not. An affinity to a state between life and death.

To mourn or not to mourn?

In between the dead and those who are alive, between those who are alive and those who are dead. This tree has a special ability to hold the place of the "in between".

It was also reminiscence of a situation where wealthy people who don't want to die freeze their body.

People who aren't prepared to die and will do anything for it/ or the other way around: a person who isn't willing to live but is afraid to die, in between...

The remedy relates to what's going on after death. This remedy is situated on Friday evening, at the second before the Sabbath enters.

Between the sacred and the profane. The blessing that distinguishes between sacred and profane. Transitions between ends and beginnings.

All kind of transition states. For example: it might be a good remedy for people who are dying and suffering but are not prepared to die. (Ars. - suffering).

There is a connection to the prophet Moses: overlooking the Promised Land from a distance but unable to enter.

Slowness of body activity (perhaps also of the emotions and the mind) to such an extent, that one can't tell if the person is going to die or not. For example when blood vessels are retreating and are closing (and the area turns purple bluish, congestive state typical for the Papaverales).

Also resembles Ign. - there are some tears but slow in coming out, everything is slow.

A remedy for the delivery stage - for the passage the baby needs to go through, when the baby does not come out, as if he doesn't want to enter the world (without fear). Something odd about this remedy, not from here, not from this place. Might be a state where the mother thinks that the world is not sacred enough or clean enough and therefore the baby is not to come out.

Also when the mother doesn't feel ready enough.

Perfectionism: one cannot move to the next stage before everything is perfect and whole. One can't make the move now because the current state is not perfected yet.

The situation is related # to something sacred. If one doesn't hold the nature of wholeness and perfection, if one can't face the light, one can't make the passage. Therefore it took so long to see anything in this proving, the stage of the passage is long and in order to pass on to the next stage a "quantum leap" is required.

The remedy will enable passages. There is something sacred in this remedy, however it is going to be helpful in entering and living in this world which isn't pure, in a profane world (therefore the timing of the remedy is on the passage from Friday to Saturday).

There is an issue with sacredness, but the remedy is holding up and slowing down as it is not beneficiary to get closer or touch the sacred place before one is ready. For that reason there are thorns, slowness, closure, blurred state, so that one can't understand what's going on and where one really is.

The one who gets too close the Holy Ark before one is ready - is burned down. The word "blurred" or "obscured" here is of importance.

The remedy is related to the root of the nose. to one's breath. To the exit point of the soul through the nose, to the sense of smell (not to the sense of sight). Therefore, the remedy is related to the moon, as a reflection of the light.

To reflected light. To the moon Neptune that makes the blurriness. There is no understanding yet, no full awareness. Maybe those are people of the senses rather than mind.

(first raw, the mind isn't built yet).

They would say: "I felt that I don't want to get near there", or "something there doesn't smell right"

Physicals

Root of nose and sinuses: itching at the throat, congestion of maxillary sinuses. Sharp pain at root of nose, like a thorn, extending to left eyebrow. Sharp and sudden. Great thirst for water.

Sharp pain: sudden pain, begins suddenly and with full strength – at left hand finger, as if by a narrow copper rod (at the blood vessels),

I want to remove it. It is there, not stitching. Pain that runs through the blood vessels. Sensation of sudden sharp stitch at left thumb.

Blocked, congested blood vessels, blueness: All participants finger tips turned purple or purple red.

Purple line at the base of left hand thumb. There is something going on with closure of the blood circulation.

Painful lymph node at right armpit. (The pain sticks. What does it want from me?) pain at left ear.

A tall desert tree, with yellow orange trunk. It grows in the deserts of Africa, from Egypt to Senegal.

The tree is an important source of "Gum Arabica", a polysaccharide which is made from the resin that the tree exudes.

The tree has an especially tough xylem and was used by the ancient Egyptians for coffins. It is assumed that this wood was used for building the Holy Ark.

The resin was used as an aphrodisiac, for treating diarrhea, for treating inflammations of the eyes, for hemorrhages and also for treating bronchitis and Gastro intestinal problems.

Incense that is made out of the tree was used to treat rheumatic pains, and to safe gourde pregnant women from disease.

*The source material was collected on 4/1/2014 at the botanical garden in Ein Gedi, Israel following a suggestion by Vega Rozenberg.

A 4C trituration was prepared by Michal Yakir, Ronen Levi and Ruti Shilo. The above information here came up during the trituration.

(The remedy can be obtained from Neot Shoshanim Pharmacy, neot.shoshanim@gmail.com).

**These are primary symptoms; a proper Hahnemannian proving is required to elucidate a fuller symptomatology and an understanding of the remedy.
