Magie: Mit dem Gottesgnadenkraut wurde früher ein spezielles Ritual durchgeführt, damit es gegen böse Geister und bösartige Geschwüre helfen können sollte. Am 15. August (Maria Himmelfahrt) wurde das Kraut betenderweise gepflückt und dann unter das Altartuch der Kirche gelegt. Sobald der Priester nichtsahnend darüber seine Messe gelesen hatte, konnte man das Kraut entfernen und für magische und Heilzwecke nutzen.
