HIV:
Verbreitung in Deutschland
Im Jahr
2012 wird die Zahl der HIV-Neuinfektion in Deutschland auf knapp 3.400 geschätzt,
das wären etwa 100 mehr als im Jahr 2011 und ca. 250 mehr als im Jahr
2010. Auch die Gesamtzahl der in Deutschland lebenden
HIV-Infizierten
hat sich seit 2001 kontinuierlich erhöht. 2001 lebten etwa 45.000
Menschen mit HIV und Aids in Deutschland, heute sind es etwa 78.000.
Risikogruppen
Von den
aktuell Infizierten sind etwa 63.000 Männer, darunter rund 51.000 homosexuelle.
Deshalb gelten Schwule gemeinhin als HIV-Risikogruppe. Auch bei
Drogengebrauchern besteht eine erhöhte Ansteckungsgefahr:
Sie
machen etwa 8.400, also rund 11% der Infizierten aus.

HIV ist
relativ schwer übertragbar. Ein Infektionsrisiko besteht nur, wenn infektiöse
Körperflüssigkeiten mit Wunden oder Schleimhäuten in Berührung kommen. Zu
diesen Körperflüssigkeiten gehören vor allem Blut,
Sperma,
Scheidenflüssigkeit und der Flüssigkeitsfilm auf der Schleimhaut des Enddarms.
Am
häufigsten wird HIV beim ungeschützten Geschlechtsverkehr weitergegeben. Sehr
riskant ist außerdem die gemeinsame Benutzung von Spritzen beim Drogenkonsum.
Das Risiko einer HIV-Übertragung ist erhöht,
wenn
sich besonders viele Viren im Blut und den Körperflüssigkeiten befinden. Das
ist zum Beispiel zwei bis vier Wochen nach einer frischen HIV-Infektion der
Fall, weil sich das Virus dann besonders stark vermehrt.
Ein
geringeres Risiko besteht, wenn sich nur wenige Viren im Blut befinden, etwa
wenn HIV-Medikamente die Vermehrung des Virus verhindern.

Die Infektion mit GBV-C beim Menschen kommt etwas
häufiger in Zusammenhang mit einer Hepatitis C vor (Drogenabhängigen). In der
Normalbevölkerung sind bereits etwa 60% GBV-C infiziert, ohne dass irgendeine
Erkrankung damit assoziiert werden konnte. Unklar ist, welche Bedeutung dieses
Virus beim Menschen hat, denn es gilt als unwahrscheinlich, dass es eine

A disease picture or an individual symptom has a number of different
qualities. What might be called the overall shape of a symptom, that which is
repertorized, is fairly obvious. It certainly narrows the choice of remedies
but, unless it is a very strong SRP (= strange/rare/peculiar symptom), it will
still leave a large and diverse selection of suggested remedies.
The remedies of the AIDS Miasm should be the remedies that can be used
in the treatment of HIV. However, there are aspects of the disease that raise important
questions about how HIV should be treated homoeopathically.
First: the disease expresses itself not directly but through secondary,
opportunistic infections. Many of these would not constitute a threat to the
healthy individual, but for those who are HIV positive they are serious and can
be
life threatening. Often these infections must be addressed immediately
because if they are not, there will be no patient to treat in any other way.
The fact that HIV causes an infectious, epidemic disease that is currently
pandemic
in Sub-Saharan Africa, suggests that it may have to be treated as an
epidemic disease rather than an expression of a constitutional disorder.
Using AIDS Miasm Remedies with Diseases not related to HIV The miasmatic
conditions that affect us find personal or individual expression in diseases
that reflect the nature of contemporary society. This happens in two ways. It
can be the diseases themselves that are a general expression of the miasmatic
stresses and concerns. These are the diseases that are particularly of our
time: ME, Anorexia and Bulimia, Gulf War Syndrome, and of course HIV/AIDS
