A disease picture or an individual symptom has a number
of different qualities. What might be called the overall shape of a symptom,
that which is repertorized, is fairly obvious. It certainly narrows the choice
of remedies but, unless it is a very strong SRP (= strange/rare/peculiar
symptom), it will still leave a large and diverse selection of suggested
