A sarcode is prepared from healthy tissue or secretion and that tissue has a useful and healthy function. Why would anybody require a remedy made from useful and
healthy tissues? When the whole being responds as if it were that one part, this can be considered as disease and that person requires a corresponding sarcode
(See “The Sensation in Homoeopathy”, page: 681).
A sarcode is prepared from healthy tissue, so it has a direct relation to physiology. The physiological process, phenomenon or function is the sensation of a sarcode.
Sarcode patient’s language is often confused with the language of minerals because they sometimes speak about functions, but a mineral's function is related to structure.
The mineral sensation is expressed as… “I'm missing something” or “I'm losing something,” while sarcode function is expressed as…“I must function properly, perfectly,
appropriately and as required, neither more nor less.”
The sarcodes are prepared from healthy tissue, so they have the potential of that particular tissue. If we understand that potentiality of tissue then we can easily prescribe
Let’s look at the Histamine case with regard to potentiality. First, you ask the question: why does the body require histamine? What is role of histamine in the body?
Histamine is meant for capillary dilatation and arterial constriction, or dilatation and constriction of smooth muscles, so dilatation and constriction is the potentiality of
histamine. If somebody’s whole being responds as if he is histamine, then we prescribe histamine and it makes him more ‘human’.
The 7th row corresponds to sarcodes. The prevailing theme of the 7th period is ‘beginning of decay’.
AWAITING COMMAND - taking orders, not having the ‘say’ when to act at the right moment.
LIMIT of AUTHORITY - leadership within limits, reprimanded for overstepping authority.
ESCAPE - fleeing from persecution, exodus, being hunted.
JOURNEY - difficulty making progress, dead ends, getting lost, have to set out look for but not sure where going.
RIVERS - flow, river, riverbanks, sandy beach, boats, slipway, tides.
Bereitet aus gesundem menschlichem oder tierischem Gewebe; wenn die Funktion eines Organs (meist Hormondrüsen) das gesamte menschliche Sein übernimmt.
A Sarcode is “a healthy glandular or tissue extract made into a homeopathic remedy … it acts to support and/or restore normal functioning of the respective tissue or organ by stimulating its normal function.” Conversely, a Nosode is “the potentised homeopathic remedy prepared from diseased tissue or the product of disease”.
Sarcodes obtained from healthy endocrine or ductless glands or normal secretions (mostly hormones) of living human organs and lower animals (Banerjee, 2007:129), such as Pancreatinum and Insulinum can be used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes.
Pancreatinum has been used with success in conditions due to disease or faulty action of the pancreas.
Insulinum can be used in the treatment of diabetes, restoring the lost ability to oxidise carbohydrates and again storing glycogen in the liver. If administered at suitable intervals
in diabetes mellitus, the blood sugar is maintained at a normal level and the urine remains free of sugar.
After my first case of sarcode I tried a lot to get a “general theme” about sarcodes, but I failed; because we have not enough information in our materia medica and not enough provings for making a generalization of sarcodes
I tried to compare each and every remedy of sarcodes but I didn’t get any common clue between them.
Fortunately two months later a interview of a patient (needing RNA) made me think further about generalization of sarcode, because he talked 2 hours continuously about “physiology”. So at that time
I thought, why should “body” not be a general theme of sarcode? Ultimately all sarcode remedies are coming from the “body”! So my general understanding became clear.
Let’s discuss the themes step by step.
[Dr. Rajan Sankaran]
View and try to understand his opinion and then we see how I understand the sarcodes.
• “Any particular cell (tissue/secretion) take over the whole being is indication of sarcode”.
In one seminar he explains this thing beautifully. His sentence… “For understanding this in a better way please take as an example that all people in a state become policemen,
then imagine what’s the situation in the state?
The same situation happens in any particular patient of a sarcode where their whole being becomes like any particular cell (tissue/secretion). I mean, some police is required in
the state but when the whole state becomes police, it creates a problem and requires treatment”.
• “A sarcode is indicated when its function is seen predominantly in the case, when it becomes global and affects every thing”.
Here his explanation has one word added ‘function’, which is something more precise then the previous explanation. So the understanding is when any cell becomes the
whole organism then their expression in human terms is the ‘function’. When patient’s central issues are related to ‘functions of the body’ then we think of sarcodes.
Dr. Sankaran’s explanation is basic, but we have to understand that basis and make it in a kind of “practical form” which we can apply easily in all cases of sarcodes.
What is the ‘function’ in sarcodes?
If we look in our body we observe one thing…that every cell in the body is functioning throughout its whole life; if they stop functioning the body can’t survive, so the
“function” is basic criteria of body’s survival mechanism and I understand the sensation of every kingdom by their survival mechanism.
• Minerals are structure and they have to complete their structure by loosing or gaining something, so their survival mechanism is to loose something or gain something.
• Plants are self dependant and on receiving any stimuli give reaction according to it, so their survival mechanism is to take the sensation and give a reaction.
• Animals are dependant on their environment so they experience threat from environment to their survival, so their survival mechanism is ‘survive’.
• Sarcodes: Similarly if we understand the survival mechanism of the body we understand a sarcode’s sensation. If the body wants to tell (express) anything, it speaks
in the form of “physiology”, so the physiology is the language of the body.
The body survives with the help of physiological processes, so the ‘body function’ is the core issue in sarcodes.
Exploring the sensation of sarcode
The sensation of sarcode would be expressed in the form of “functions of the body”. When we pass through all levels in the process of case taking and when we reach at the
level of sensation, at that time the patient starts to talk about the functions. At this stage their expressions are related to “Action” rather then “Effect”. I mean the patient put
weight on “Action” and these actions are related to the “Body”. Actions are like… doing, working, maintaining etc.
E.g., when our Histamine patient talks about sensation he feels that he cannot do anything or he cannot work or his body cannot maintain blood ingredients. So here he puts
weight on ‘doing’, ‘working’ and ‘maintaining’. So it becomes clear that he is talking about functions and that these are related to blood, brain or body. So things become
logical if we understand he is talking about “Body functions = Physiology”.
Function may confuse us with the mineral kingdom because minerals also have functions as a sensation, but minerals’ functions are related to their row in the periodic table:
they are related to existence, separation, identity, security, performance, leadership or letting go. Sarcodes’ functions are related to “Body”. For example: health, blood, bloodcirculation, immunity, deficiency, excretion, filtration etc.
Sarcode patients’ expressions confuse us with “local or physical” information, because when a patient talks about local detail that is also related to the body, but the basic
difference is the sarcode patient talks local-like information at the sensation level. E.g., if patients talk at the level of fact they express very minute energy while at the level
of sensation the energy is plenty and the pattern of energy is repetitive and obvious: they have movement (hand gesture/body gesture/facial expressions), sound and colour
for expression of their experience while these things are lacking at the local level.
When I examine all cases of sarcodes I see one pattern in their functions. Their attitude is they want to maintain their state. This kind of understanding comes to my mind
when I re-examine my cortisone case. During re-examination I wonder why anybody wants to become ‘proper, perfect and appropriate’? The answer is: she wants to
maintain her state otherwise she becomes ‘oversensitive or unstable’. I mean if you don’t maintain your state then you become “hyper” or “hypo” functions wise and
that’s creating a problem in the sarcode.
This kind of ‘attitude’ expressed beautifully in Dr. Sankaran’s DNA case. The patient maintains the attitude of ‘find something better’ and changed his place 6x!
This kind of attitude forced him to work in sharp, focused and right direction. In the case we see some more features like: I can’t sit in one place, changes constantly;
I always try to survive in difficult situation. These expressions support our idea of maintaining.
I give one more example of ‘maintaining’ attitude. My RNA patient wants to work according to a time-table. He wants everything to be perfect and according to his way.
Suppose his mom cooked “cari” instead of “dal”, but he doesn’t eat it, because cari is for Wednesday not for Sunday in his time-table of food. He becomes so much nutrition conscious that he made a fixed menu of food for a week and strictly follows that. This is the attitude of his behaviour. If he eats something irregularly then he looses his
‘healthy state’, which is he tries to maintain constantly by making a time-table for food.
How to select any particular remedy from sarcode kingdom?
In above chapter we discuss about general theme of sarcode but how to choose a sarcode remedy is one another issue that must be understood perfectly. “Potential” of any
sarcode remedy makes their choice of prescription. For better way to understand this topic let’s make comparison of sarcodes with India. The Indians are recognized by their language, Hindi, but anybody coming from Maharastra state speaks Marathi also, or anybody coming from Gujrat state also speaks Gujrati, but their national language is Hindi.
In the same way all sarcodes speak the language of “physiology” as a general, but at particular level they speak a different language of depending on “where they coming from”.
For example, in the ‘Histamine’ case physiology is his language of sarcode but he also speaks the language of ‘contraction and dilatation’, because histamine’s potential is to
contract or dilate vessels.
In other words, if a patient expresses complaints at sensation level he talks about ‘function of body’ which confirms the sarcode, but the type and quality of function point to a particular remedy. In my Urea case the physiological process is conformation of sarcode but the expressions of ‘excretion and filtration’ make the choice of Urea.
Some sensation words for sarcodes…
Body, Nutrition, Energy, Filtration, Metabolism, Digestion, Power, Strength, Balance, Co-ordination, Cooperation, Handling, Caring, Immunity, Deficiency, Capacity,
Health, Food, Weakness, Wasting, Blood circulation, Healthy systems, Organs
Defining ‘sarcodes’ is a very complex task, on which a consensus among homeopaths seems to be almost impossible.
I would go with the definition evolved from discussions on our group: “Sarcodes are homeopathic drugs prepared from healthy animal tissues and secretions that in crude
form contain biological molecules having specific physiological functions in the human organism”
According to this definition, an animal product will not be considered a sarcode, if it does not contain some biological molecules that are integral part of vital metabolic
processes of human organism. That is the dividing line between ‘animal drugs’ and ‘sarcodes’.
Sarcodes have a very notable peculiarty. Always exist in molecular form in the organism, and participate in various molecular interactions being part of different biochemical pathways. They become homeopathic drugs only when they are not administered in ‘molecular forms’, but as potentised forms above 12c. In molecular forms below
Avogadro limit, they can be considered only as physiological products, not as homeopathic drugs.
Two questions have to be answered here:
1. If sarcodes are natural biological molecules having specific functional roles in human organism, how they become pathogenic agents, requiring the intervention of their
own potentized forms or ‘molecular imprints’?
2. If the sarcodes are biological molecules being essential parts of living system, will not their physiological functions get negatively affected by the use of their potentized
forms, since it is true that potentized form of a drug substance can antidote the biological effects of same drug in crude form?
Let us consider pituitary.: hormones. They play a decisive role in the whole metabolism of the organism, and hence called ‘master gland’. Pitutary hormones control many
enzyme systems in our body. Then how can they act as pathogenic agents, requiring the use of potentized pituitary extract?
3. When we use potentized pitutrin as a sarcode, will it not act as an antidote towards molecular forms of pituitary hormones and create dangerous consequences, by
disrupting the whole endocrine activities mediated by pituitary hormones?
Pepsinum is very important in digestion of proteins. If pepsinum 30 is given to a person, will it create problems in protein digestion by deactivating pepsin molecules?
If they cannot antidote pepsin molecules, how can they act as therapeutic agents?
Thyroid hormones play very important roles in metabolic activities in the living organism. Then how it can be pathogenic agents, requiring the intervention of potentized thyroidinum? Will not potentized thyroidinum hinder the biological processes mediated by thyroid hormones?
These are very pertinent questions we have to answer while trying to explain the science behind using of potentized sarcodes.
We can answer these questions only if we know the dynamics of molecular processes involved in biochemical interactions.
Every biological molecules, especially those belonging to hormones, signaling molecules(cytokines), neuro-chemicals, antibodies and enzymes being circulated in the organism enter into two types of chemical interactions:
1. ‘On-target interactions’ and ‘On-target’ interactions are those happening between natural ligands and their genuine targets. Such interactions are essential part of vital processes
through which biochemical pathways are carried unhindered.
Natural ligands and their genuine targets interact through two stages:
a). molecular identification and binding, which is effected by complementary configurational affinity between targets and ligands,
b). actual chemical interaction, which is effected through perfect charge affinity between ligands and their genuine targets.
2. ‘Off-target interactions’.
Off-target interactions are those accidentally happening between ligands and wrong targets having configurational affinity only. In the absence of exact charge affinity, no
chemical changes occur. Such interactions are always ‘inhibitory’, temporarily or permanently deactivating the involved biological molecules. Such ‘inhibitory’ off-target
interactions inevitably lead to derangement in associated biochemical pathways resulting in pathological states.
‘Off-target’ inhibitions caused by biological molecules such as hormones, enzymes, antibodies, signaling molecules(cytokines) and neurochemicals are causative factors of a wide range of pathological conditions in human beings.
Sarcodes, or potentized preparations of these biological molecules, which contain their ‘molecular imprints’ , can effectively remove these molecular inhibitions and thereby act as therapeutic agents.
Here lies the importance of sarcodes in homeopathic therapeutics.
Follows the issue of selective action of the potentized sarcodes. As any other molecular imprints, molecular imprints in potentized sarcodes also cannot interfere in in the interactions between natural
ligands and their genuine targets which involves configurational affinity as well as charge affinity. Since molecular imprints act through configurational affinity only, they can interfere in only inhibitory ‘off-target’ interactions.
It is now obvious that thyroidinum 30 cannot interfere in the essential biochemical processes mediated by thyroid hormones, Piturin 30 cannot interfere in the natural actions of pituitary hormones. This principle is applicable to all potentized sarcodes. We can use potentized sarcodes above C 12 without any fear of adverse effects.
Sarcodes can play a very important role in the treatment of diverse types of diseases belonging to metabolic, emotional, psychosomatic, and ontological factors. They can also be part of constitutional prescriptions
As Lac humanum is about the price of individuality, Carcinosin is primarily about the price of conformity, and AIDS is about the complete breakdown of defences and barriers. The key concept of AIDS
is chronic weakness at the boundary. The positive outcome is freedom to experience love, while the negative is feeling excluded, rejected, isolated.
Following the theme of blood brothers, the ideal of the Aquarian age is the brotherhood of humankind. Here the barriers between us are dismantled and we learn to provide for each other. The ‘Global Village’ ideal of fair play and fair trade becomes established. We come to understand the implications of sharing the planet’s resources: the air that we breathe, the oceans, the land. We share the information of all nations via optical and electronic means. What we do and think is transmitted via satellites into our homes, providing us with the choice of staying in touch, and staying in agreement
with one another. This democratisation of information could result in a giant step in human evolution. We could postulate that this is an AIDS theme.

This homeopathic information and material taught at a Bristol Homeopathic Hospital lecture is derived from the insights of the medical homeopaths in the Bristol Homeopathic Hospital Sensation group, who meet up to explore the latest discoveries and share their clinical experiences of Sensation prescribing.
Bristol Homeopathic Hospital in UK led a dream proving of testosterone three years ago and did a dream proving of progesterone this year, as part of the academic course.
The substance of the proving was unknown to the provers, yet the provings of these two hormones had striking themes in common.
The provings were led by the homeopathic hospital’s academic team, Elizabeth Thompson, Julie Geraghty, Helen Beaumont, and Geoff Johnson, a veterinarian and sensation homeopath. These clinicians and lecturers follow sensation homeopathy and Jan Scholten’s element theory.
Corresponding with their colleagues around the world, they exchanged discoveries with the Indian homeopath Ghanshyam Kalathia, whose research is shared on his facebook
page Sarcodes in Homeopathy, and his colleague Meeta Anil Nihlani. This sharing of information has led to developing an understanding of the sarcodes as a distinct kingdom
of sensation homeopathy, alongside the animal, mineral, plant, and lesser known kingdoms of fungi, nosodes, bacteria/monera, and imponderables.
Intercurrent Organ Support Remedies
Sarcodes have generally been used at Level 1 + Level 2 as intercurrrent remedies for organ support, such as Thyroidinium to support the thyroid and Folliculinum to support the female reproductive system.
A well-established formula for prescribing sarcodes for endocrine problems at specific potencies: 3 C or 5 C to encourage functioning of a gland; 7C to modulate/regulate a gland function; 9 C to suppress/ inhibit gland functioning.
Deeper level of understanding
This is clinically sound practice, but recognizing common themes, the homeopathic hospital’s clinical team was interested in developing an understanding of the Sarcode remedies
at a deeper level.
The search for a systematic approach to understanding patient and remedy states led to a classification based on miasms (pace and depth of desperation) as well as the natural kingdom to which the remedy belongs. Remedies of one kingdom share common themes in their core experiences, which are distinct from those of another kingdom.
Remedies (and people) of the Plant Kingdom have intense sensitivity to certain situations and stimuli. Those situations or stimuli affect them, producing sensations. In a patient needing a plant remedy, at the deepest level of experience, and globally, there will be prominence of a particular sensation and its opposite. That sensation will be specific to the family to which the plant belongs, and therefore it will be found in/shared by other plants of the same family. However, each plant experiences the main sensation with a different pace and depth of desperation, which corresponds to its miasm. Thus plants can be classified on common family sensation and individual miasm. In this manner one can use a
system approach to reach to the most suitable remedy. This provides an alternative or confirmatory method of finding the remedy.
Sensation Language of the Kingdoms:
Plant remedies: are affected by things in the environment, they have a sensation and a reaction.
Mineral remedies: need structure and a foundation: their structure feels incomplete, there is a lack of capacity or capability to build aspects of their life. Either they fear they are losing their structure and stability, or feel they are missing something they need to feel complete.
Animal kingdom: their issue is survival, competition for resources for survival, me versus you.
Nosodes: Sensation language is illness / germs; health is an issue if there is illness.
Sarcodes are not yet ‘on the map’ of kingdoms.
What language does someone use, when they are expressing a Sarcode at Sensation level, when a Sarcode is the deepest acting remedy for them?
A Sarcode case may be initially confused with a mineral case. Mineral cases talk about capacity and building. Imponderable cases talk about energy.
Sarcode cases talk about the functioning or energy in the body, and they generalise this process. Sarcode cases describe how they must do things in an orderly way to ensure
things run perfectly and function well; or they may feel they are not functioning properly.
Sarcode remedies are derived from healthy functioning tissue and secretions, so a sarcode remedy has the healing potential of healthy tissue. A healthy body maintains a healthy balance when the endocrine system ensures everything functions perfectly. Each part of the body has a specific function, each gland or enzyme has a specific task to perform.
This must be done perfectly, to maintain health.
When we see the world in terms of functioning and describe it as if one part of our physiological functioning is our whole consciousness, this is when we may need a sarcode remedy. “I must function efficiently” (in case taking they describe this function as if it is required for a physiological process).
We can now begin to recognise the themes of the Sarcodes as a kingdom.
Control and perfect function
A hormone or neurotransmitter has a specific task and does it within carefully controlled limits/parameters to function properly and maintain balance.
In a sarcode state, our role is to perform our task perfectly. There is a controller in charge (the pituitary); we must stay within set boundaries, we must await instructions and act at the right time.
A secretion is contained or released by a gland, for immediate response, or flows and circulates around the body in a carefully regulated controlled mechanism that functions perfectly.
Sarcode Themes and Words:
All the sarcodes share some themes at Sensation level. The following were found to be common themes of the hormone provings and cases at Bristol Homeopathic Hospital in UK. (Note that Sankaran and Indian doctors working with the Bombay sensation method have a different schema; see below.)
Task/Role/Function: you have a specific task to perform.
Perfectionism, Functioning perfectly: must do your job perfectly in order to ensure that everything functions properly at work or at home and in the family.
Failure to Function: not doing this function perfectly is failure. Failure leads to guilt.
Control, Controlled: controlled, regulated, waiting command, acting on orders (processes are governed by pituitary or chemicals that stimulate release).
System, Mechanism: fragile framework, their specific task is part of a whole system.
Hormones released from glands have additional Sensation themes:
Containded/Released: (a hormone is retained in the gland until it is released.)
Trapped: some Sarcode cases feel 'trapped’ which reminds us of a bird remedy. The opposite of trapped is soaring or flying for bird cases, but the opposite of trapped or stagnant in a sarcode case is “flowing”. When a plant case describes feeling ‘trapped’, there is a sensation relating to that plant kingdom, and its opposite sensation (bound and released).
Blocked: DD.: these cases can sound like ‘crucifereae' sensation of blocked.
Comfort Zone: stay in your comfort zone (we hear this in the testosterone case).
Some cases can sound like a 'mollusc' theme. Contained and comfort zone are expressions patients needing a mollusk remedy use. Stasis and stagnant versus flow is a sarcode theme.
Boudaries, Limits: staying within boundaries, going beyond boundaries, overflowing, bursting the banks.
Flow: river, flowing, overflow, mix up, moving / not moving, running.
Cycles/Circles: circulating, circles, cycles, cyclically, biofeedback loops. Hand gestures showing cycles going round and round in circles are themes of sarcode cases.
Balance: maintaining balance, functioning.
Addict/fix (eg adrenaline case, oxytocin case)
Connection: link (bonding is central issue to oxytocin. Link is also a theme in the cortisone case). A hormone has to link to its receptor to initiate its function.
[Rajan Sankaran and Ghanshyam Kalathia]
Put forward the following as sarcode language:
Sarcode Remedies and Physiological Processes
Carcinosin has to be in control as a compensation for everything going into chaos (a nosode is made from sick tissue - chaos means illness, death ensues from chaos).
A sarcode is in perfect control to start with, as it is from a healthy organism. It brings everything into balance for proper functioning.
Sarcode Source Substances
A Sarcode remedy could be a tissue or secretion from an organ eg. testes, ovary or heart. Any physiological processes can be a sarcode remedy. A sarcode remedy is
related to the functions of the body and can be derived from any glands, secretions, hormones, neurotransmitters, enzymes, cellular molecules such as DNA, RNA,
energy releasing compounds from cellular processes in all cells of the Krebs cycle like ADP-ATP. 88 hormones have been discovered; 15 of these have been proved
as remedies so far. At this point we glimpse the sheer scope of what the sarcodes are introducing to homeopathy.
Adrenalin. is a neurotransmitter and a hormone, Cholesterinum, Cortisonum, Corticotropinum, Dopamine are in many pathways; Folliculinum, Histaminum, Insulinum,
Oophorinum, Orchitinum, Pancreatinum, Parathyroidinum,
Pepsinum. Pituitaria glandula anterior, Pituitaria glandula posterior, Urea, Secretin in the stomach, Somatostatin in gut.
Folliculinum. has to be a perfect mother, wants to take care of everyone.
Cortisone has to react quickly to keep everything damped down.
Oxytocin. produces bonding and bliss, connection, addiction to the high of a sexual connection.
Progesterone homeopathic remedy is also made from the artificial hormone progestogen used in contraceptive pill, implants and HRT hormone replacement.
These hormones are widely prescribed and are in food and water supplies, so they are likely to be important as remedies. Folliculinum cases present with typical
Sarcode language (they need to function perfectly).
Care - feel they have to take care of everyone, mother everyone, to be a perfect mother.
Rescue - want to be helpful, help others, rescuing people (orphans), charitable projects, even save the world.
Selfless - loss of self, loses herself in relationships, forgotten who she is, loses her will.
Abused - emotional abuse, mentally, physically or medically, sexually abused.
Loss of Energy - exhausted, drained, doormat, feels taken advantage of, feels used, controlled by another.
Cycle - out of sorts with her body rhythms, polycystic ovaries, mood swings, excitability / depression, post natal depression, difficulty bonding with her
children, or the children may have separation anxiety, unable to be separate from mother, over-dependent.
DD.: Sepia. Folliculinum (Sepia = leprosy miasm.) There is more emphasis on cycles in Folliculinum.
DD.: Carcinosin. control, never allowed to say “No”. In Carcinosin, control is related to perfectionism in order to control chaos, rather than the rescuing and
nurturing of Folliculinum.
Has written about this in “Gifts of the Mother – Matridonal Remedies of the Humanum Family”.
Protective - role of protector, protective, wants to protect and take care of family.
Perfect specimen, needs to be desired, “making love by the fireside”.
Masculine performance, worries - am I masculine enough?
Function – to impregnate, produce children.
Command - assume command, am I up to doing the job? Have I done the job well? Guilt.
Aggression - has to fight to protect family, tribe, territory, world - fighter, macho.
Adventure - journeys, voyages, maps, boats.
Water - sea, stagnant water (sarcode themes).
In this proving conducted by Bristol Homeopathic Hospital, themes of journeys, protection of babies and children, family, and past relationships. The emotional and
relationship theme of past lovers, was experienced by men and women provers, the women had dreams of seeing their ex-partners again, while the men had dreams
of a missed sexual opportunity. It is interesting to see how this female sexual reproductive hormone was equally relevant to men as a remedy.
These themes appear to be common to the hormone sarcodes.
Bonding hormone, close loving bond with one’s child or lover.
Breast feeding - Nursing, nourishment and bonding with baby.
Blissful feeling, closeness, bonding, connection, link.
Touch - sensual touch, massage, skin-to-skin contact.
Sensual love, closeness from sexual contact, sexual bliss, addiction to this feeling.
Hope - a person who brings hope into being, midwife.
Pituitary Control Centre: produces 8 different hormones.
Function - wants the whole body to function perfectly, everyone to do their job properly.
Commanding - organiser of family, of body, bossy, in command.
(Theoretical scenario by Bristol Sensation group: manager, conductor of orchestra.)
PROBLEMS - trouble shooter, sorts out problems, exhausted from sorting out everyone’s problems.
FAST RESPONSE - must react quickly, to calm the situation down.
SUSCEPTIBLE to infections, weakness/ obesity/ flabbiness.
DAMAGE LIMITATION - containing the situation, need to protect, limit damage.
PROTECTIVE function, causes local swelling so bee sting cannot circulate through body.
REACTION - histamine causes a reaction but overdoes it: too much is released, triggered by white blood cells.
Ailments from bad news.
(Theoretical scenario: government public information campaign, damage limitation, reaction to a disaster or a campaign.)
EMERGENCY - Fear/Fight/Flight, pounding heart
DANGER - drawn to dangerous situations
IMMEDIATE RESPONSE - must respond quickly to an emergency.
ADRENALINE RUSH, extreme sports - DD column 6, Tungsten: jumps off mountains.
(Theoretical scenario: eg fire fighter, lifeguard).
OBESITY storing up fat in the body.
(Theoretical scenario: COLLECTING, storing up, gathering up stuff for use.
HOARDING - fear of poverty, hoarding, saving up, making sure there is enough for future.)
EXPEND energy, overspends energy, leading to ME burn-outs.
(Theoretical scenario: spends liberally, overspending without a thought for tomorrow, entrepreneurial risk makes us live for today.)
In Thyroidinum all the characteristics are related to functional qualities of the thyroid gland.
BALANCE REGULATION - controls rate of metabolism, balance, regulation.
FRANTIC - over active.
SLOW - sluggish, inactive, exhausted, low, tired.
HIGH/LOW - up and down levels, maintaining balance.
