Kondom geplatzt – was nun?

Oralsex:

            Sperma ausspucken

[Peter Fraser]

In the early nineteen eighties a new and terrible disease was sweeping through the gay communities of the large cities of the western world. The disease itself had no form but it suppressed the immune system and allowed a number of opportunist infections to wreak havoc. The disease was transmitted through bodily fluids, usually through sexual contact. Its source was a mystery, and although the HIV virus was eventually discovered, there is still serious controversy whether it is the only factor involved in the disease.

As a venereal disease that suddenly swept through the world causing horror, revulsion, moral outrage and a fear that was out of proportion to its incidence; AIDS has many of the features of the other diseases that have provided the major miasmatic nosodes. Susan Sontag in her essay "Illness as Metaphor" describes how the Venereal Diseases, Tuberculosis and Cancer has taken on (or perhaps revealed) metaphoric meaning that went far beyond their physical manifestation, both in the individual and in society. AIDS, as soon as its presence became known, had clearly joined the pantheon of Metaphoric Illness.

In 1988 Misha Norland, School of Homoeopathy in Devon, conducted a proving of the remedy, which had been prepared from the blood of a man with full blown AIDS and who later died of the disease. This proving produced a number of symptoms but there was not a clear overall picture. A group in Holland also conducted a similarly exhaustive proving with similarly unsatisfactory results. In 1994 he conducted two further provings which this time produced a clear and comprehensive picture of the remedy.

In this proving the dreams were a particularly strong indicator of the essence of the remedy. Extravagance in behaviour and in buildings, a sense of suspicion and being under attack, a concern for

the welfare of animals and children and restlessness were all themes that came through clearly in both the provers' dreams and the feelings and symptoms they experienced after taking the remedy.

Although promiscuous homosexuality is by no means the story of even the majority of those who get AIDS, it has become part of the spirit of the disease, the feeling of being an outcast, a person who breaks the taboos of anal sex and so courts the third taboo of death, a person who can never be accepted by the rest of society. This feeling is absolutely central to the disease picture of the AIDS nosode. The AIDS patient often feels that he is abandoned by society and his illness is being ignored. The person who needs the AIDS nosode has the same sort of feelings, that he or she is

an outcast of society, that they are only safe in their own house, where they can pull the curtains and create their own culture. When they leave the safety of their house they are defenceless and any attack becomes major, just as for the AIDS patient any disease or infection becomes life threatening.

[Harris Coulter]

"... We doubt that a substantial portion of those, with the virus will ever become sick with AIDS. We also dispute the possibility of curing AIDS with a drug or vaccine directed against

the supposed viral cause... We outline a new interpretation of the genesis of this disease and indicate ways of coping with it, of limiting and averting its further depredations..."

"...The AIDS virus is probably little more than another 'opportunistic' infection of an already destroyed immune system, at the most a 'co-factor' which may possibly give rise to AIDS

when combined with other factors... the search should be for factors which undermine the immune system and thus predispose to infection with... the AIDS virus and others which may

ordinarily be quite innocuous."

"...The continuing assault on the immune system from the drugs used in modern medicine has helped prepare the ground for the modern scourge of AIDS."

     verschlepptes Fieber, Husten und Atemnot;

     bestehende oder durchgemachte CMV-Infektion;

     hohe Leberwerte;

     durchgemachte Hepatitis B;

     Geschlechtskrankheiten (sie können, wenn sie mit hohen Dosen Antibiotika behandelt werden, wirken immunsuppressiv);

     Drogenmißbrauch (Nitroverbindungen zum Inhalieren sind sehr immunsuppressiv);

     Candidiasis;

     vorhergehende oder bestehende Krankheiten wie Leukopenie, Morbus Hodgkin;

     Behandlung mit Cortison und anderen toxischen Medikamenten (z.B. TMP/SMX);

     Bestrahlung.

     Überarbeitet (2 Jobs auf 1x)

Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is a disorder of cell-mediated immunity characterized by opportunistic infections, malignancies, neurological

dysfunction, and a variety of other syndromes (Beers, et al. 1999:1312).

HIV: Verbreitung in Deutschland

Vergleich: DD.: Drug abuse has become a major issue as it closely meets the overpowering needs of many individuals (Fraser, 2002:55). The themes of isolation, secrecy, feeling of numbness and

disconnection from the pain of modern existence often relate to the issues of a person in an AIDS miasmatic and disease state. AIDS has also been associated with drug abuse (intravenous use of

drugs, as it is a mode of transmitting the virus) (Fraser, 2002: 124). Fraser (2002:54): remedies from Class Aves have a strong connection to the AIDS miasm as birds are able to live freely without

any restrictions or boundaries, and they are able to move, free of the constraints of the earth (Fraser, 2009:95).

A disease picture or an individual symptom has a number of different qualities. What might be called the overall shape of a symptom, that which is repertorized, is fairly obvious. It certainly narrows

the choice of remedies but, unless it is a very strong SRP (= strange/rare/peculiar symptom), it will still leave a large and diverse selection of suggested remedies.

The remedies of the AIDS Miasm should be the remedies that can be used in the treatment of HIV. However, there are aspects of the disease that raise important questions about how HIV should be

treated homoeopathically.

1st the disease expresses itself not directly but through 2nd secondary, opportunistic infections.

Many of these would not constitute a threat to the healthy individual, but for those who are HIV positive they are serious and can be life threatening. Often these infections must be addressed immediately because if they are not, there will be no patient to treat in any other way. The fact that HIV causes an infectious, epidemic disease that is currently pandemic in Sub-Saharan Africa, suggests that it may  have to be treated as an epidemic disease rather than an expression of a constitutional disorder.

Using AIDS Miasm Remedies with Diseases not related to HIV

The miasmatic conditions that affect us find personal or individual expression in diseases that reflect the nature of contemporary society. This happens in two ways. It can be the diseases themselves that are a general expression of the miasmatic stresses and concerns. These are the diseases that are particularly of our time: ME, Anorexia and Bulimia, Gulf War Syndrome, and of course HIV/AIDS itself.

It can also be expressed in more common and general diseases, but in a particularly AIDS Miasm version of them. Thus something like depression is a common illness and it can be found in the pictures of virtually any chronic disease and so of any Miasm.

However, there is a particular version of depression that centres around issues of isolation and vulnerability which is a part of the AIDS Miasm.

Allerlei: The key theme of AIDS as disease/nosode/Miasm = is the breakdown of boundaries. In the world of AIDS latex has taken on some of the roles of those lost barriers particularly the role of the immune system in protecting the body from germs and disease. The latex glove had been common in surgery, principally to protect the patient from the surgeon's germs. In the 1980s it quickly became mandatory for all health workers and its use was as much about protecting the worker as the patient.
